I try to wash my hair every other day to help preserve the color and I
started using Pantene color safe shampoo and conditioner. Before I get
out of the shower, I brush my hair while it's soaking wet with a wide
bristle hairbrush and avoid towel drying it. This makes brushing it
relatively easy. If I don't do this, my hair becomes very hard to
untangle when I do try and brush it out later.As soon as it's brushed, I spray it with John Frieda Heat Defense Protective Styling Spray. This helps protect my hair from even more damage when I blow dry it. Then I rub a quarter sized drop of John Frieda Straight Fixation Smoothing Creme in my hands and distribute it through the lower 2/3rds of my hair avoiding my roots. This helps smooth out my hair and allows me to skip the straightener.
After that, I put two or three squirts of the John Frieda Perfect Ends Deep Infusion serum directly onto the ends of my hair and work it in. Finally, I use Renpure Organics Amazing Miracle deep conditioner once a week in the shower and let it soak in for 5 minutes before I rinse it out. The best part is you can find all of these at the drugstore and they are relatively inexpensive!
